ABOUT US

With the vision to render specialized medical services to the people using nuclear technology, the Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS) was first established in 1982 in Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College. With the modern state of art single and dual head SPECT cameras, the institute is now capable of performing most modern scanning on oncology, cardiology, nephrology and cerebral studies.

For the next ten to fifteen years tremendous development is expected in the field of nuclear medicine therapy and targeted radionuclide therapy, radio pharmacy, PET radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear oncology, pediatric nuclear medicine, nuclear nephrology, nuclear cardiology. To meet the future challenge in the field of nuclear medicine, our target is:

1. Expansion of diagnostic & therapeutic capability

2. Increase of academic & research activities and

3. Development of the human resource

 

How to get service at INMAS, Sylhet

A doctor's advice is needed to take any service at INMAS, Sylhet. Considering the doctor's advice, appointment will be given to you. You can take that service by paying the government fixed fee on the scheduled date.

 

Working Schedule of the Institute:

Saturday to Thursday                       :   8.00 am to 2.30 pm
Holiday                                             :    Friday and all government holiday.
 

Schedule of Patient entry:

Ultrasonogram               : From 8:00 am to 01:30 pm (According to Appointment)

Scintigraphy (Scan)       : From 8:00 am to 01:30 pm (According to Appointment)

Hormone Test                : From 8:00 am to 01:30 pm (According to Appointment)

Thyroid clinic consultation  : From 8:00 am to 01:30 pm (According to Appointment)

Scintigraphy (Scan)       : From 8:00 am to 01:30 pm (According to Appointment)

Schedule of Report delivery:

Ultrasonogram (Report is delivered on test day) : After 02 hours of examination (From the reception counter)

Scintigraphy (Report is delivered on next day of test day) : After 10:00 am (From the reception counter)

Hormone Test (Report is delivered on scheduled delivery date provided during collection of blood):  After 10:00 am (From the reception counter).
